Contestant Info

Registration	Registering for RoboGames 2009 will open Feb 1, 2009.
Payment	Payment for your registration is handled through the registration system.
Where	The 2009 International RoboGames will be held at Ft. Mason.
Safety/Check-in	Soccer/Combat: Thur: 10am-12pm (including ants) Others: Fri: 7am-10pm, (closes 2 hours before your event)

Photo Guidelines	You must upload a valid photo of yourself into the database. Full guidelines for photos are here. If you can build a robot, you can resize a photo.
Rules	Full rules are here. Combat Robot participants should read the Safety Inspection Procedure.
Hotels	Discount hotel rooms are available on a very limited basis at the Comfort Inn (2775 Van Ness Ave San Francisco, CA 94109 - (415) 928-5000) for $96/night weekday, $143/night. Tthe group reference number to give when reserving is #1041 or "Robot Event". The below is a list of places about which we have received favorable comments: Comfort Inn Dirt cheap rooms can be found at the Ft. Mason youth hostel. The rooms are generally shared and offer little storage options, but are clean and about a block from the venue: Ft. Mason Youth Hostel - by special arrangement with their staff, contestants can book at the hostel for $28 per person/per night. Use the promo code "RF09" to get that special rate.

You or your designated agent must be present to accept your shipment, and you must be present to hand your return shipment to your shipper. AT NO TIME WILL COMBOTS, FORT MASON, OR THE RFL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPETITORS ROBOTS, TOOLS, OR OTHER PROPERTY. YOU ALONE ARE 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PROPERTY AT ALL TIMES. Competitors will have access to the venue during load-in and load out, and should arrange with their shippers accordingly. If you cannot arrive before your robot, you may arrange for another builder to sign for your robot/crate.
