Register to Compete at RoboGames

You must be pre-registered to compete. Do not wait until the last minute - it's better to register and withdraw than to wait too long and miss the registration period.

RoboGames will be using the BuildersDataBase to process all registrations for RoboGames.

Competitors and their teams do not have to buy admission tickets!

Photo Guidelines: You must upload a valid photo of yourself into the BuildersDB. Full guidelines for photos are here. If you can build a robot, you can resize a photo.

If you are already registered with the Robot Builders Database, just click here!

If you are not registered with the Robot Builders Database:
It only takes about five minutes (no really) to register. If you haven't used BuidlersDB before, it's a very simple and free way to register your robots. It really helps us to better manage the event and you don't have to pay them any money. Just follow the following steps.

Read all seven steps BEFORE starting!

If you do not fully complete your registration, you won't be allowed to compete! Many people get their robots into the database, but do not complete the final step - registering for RoboGames. BuildersDB handles robots for many different events, so it's important to affiliate your robots with this event - BuildersDB is not exclusive to RoboGames.

  1. Click here to create a new team - then enter your team info (Team Name, City, e-mail, etc. (takes about 1 minute.))
  2. Click the robots tab on the left, then click the Add New Bot button.
  3. Enter the bot name, pick the class (combat, Fire-fighting, MiroSot, Sumo, etc. (about 2 minutes.))
  4. Click the builders tab on the left, then click the Add New Team Member button and enter info for each team member (about 2 minutes/person - photos not required, but strongly encouraged.)
  5. DO NOT MISS THIS STEP! Click here for the RoboGames page, and then click the big yellow button marked Click here to register.
You must do this step in order to associate your robots and team with the RoboGames competition (as there are many other competitions.)
  6. Follow the 3 step process (about 20 seconds.)
  7. That's all! See - only took a few minutes. Once you've completed the info once, you don't need to put it in again. For other events, you can register in under a minute!
