Order your own Custom Trading Cards

Order your very own trading cards for your robot and team!

We've made a special deal with a local printer to get your team 1200 cards for just $87 (sorry, you can't order less than 1200 - that's the print run the print shop does.) Teams may select their own photos and text, and can order one set per robot. You can modify (mostly) as you see fit, within these guidelines:

1) Front is always portrait, back is always landscape.
2) No more than 1 builder photo per card back (can list many names, but only one photo)
3) Basic layout always remains the same
4) Sponsor logo can be on card or not.

After placing your order, send me your text, up to two photos (cropped tightly to your bot, and no bigger than 1000x1000 pixels), and if you have a sponsor, the sponsor logo as a PDF or jpeg/gif of at least 400x400 pixels. If you don't have good action shots, we have thousands of photos of most robots from the last 5 years worth of events that you can use for your cards as well. Email Dave if to find out if we have shots of your bot if you don't have enough pix yourself. We reserve the right to refuse crappy photos taken in your garage, and to cut down your text if you write a novel (no, we won't change the point size of the font...)

The below are samples only. Print run will be around 1200 for you to use as you'd like (give to kids, gifts for sponsors, use as beer coasters, etc.). 1200 cards may sound like a lot, but they'll go fast. Heck, you can even use them as business cards. We'll also be making an additional 1200 of each card for ourselves - to give out at RoboGames on Judd/Feldstein Kids Free Friday.

Cards are printed on heavy, 14 pt. gloss cover stock, full color both sides, coated on both sides with a durable, gloss aqueous coating. An aqueous coating gives a better finish, that can be written on with a ballpoint pen as well as sharpies - so you can autograph them with anything. It also protects the surface from dirt, smudges, fingerprints and scratches, and improves durability if they're carried in pockets.

Cards must be ordered by June 3rd to be available to you at RoboGames!
